Dry ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats
1 cup pumpkin seeds
1 cup sweetened coconut
1 cup slivered almonds
1/4 cup cashews
Wet ingredients:
1 teas vanilla

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is a base recipe that I use to make granola. You can add anything you have handy to this mix. The result is a loose granola that is great by itself or as a cereal.</p>
<p>Dry ingredients:<br />
2 cups rolled oats<br />
1 cup pumpkin seeds<br />
1 cup sweetened coconut<br />
1 cup slivered almonds<br />
1/4 cup cashews</p>
<p>Wet ingredients:<br />
1 teas vanilla<br />
1/4 cup agave syrup<br />
2 tbs molasses<br />
1 tbs canola oil</p>
<p>Combine wet ingredients and then toss that with the dry ingredients to create the base granola.<br />
Bake at 275 for about 45 minutes until golden brown stirring frequently</p>
<p>Date mixture:<br />
chop 1/3 cup dates<br />
2 tbs ground flax<br />
2 tbs wheat germ<br />
2 tbs wheat bran</p>
<p>Combine dates with flax, bran, and germ.</p>
<p>Dried fruit ideas:<br />
1/2 cup dried cranberries<br />
1/2 cup dried mix of apricots, raisins, banana, papaya &#8211; any dried fruit you&#8217;d like.</p>
<p>Mix base granola with the date mix and dried fruit and you have yourself some homemade granola.</p>
